We had 2 replica, 1930’s, timber bay windows fitted which included leaded glass and paintwork. They are amazing. Attention to detail is excellent and the two joiners that fitted them were professional and friendly. I’d also like to praise the administration and communication side of the business. We had direct contact with various staff involved in various stages of the process. They replied promptly to queries and were well organised. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this business. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
Fantastic job done. The quality of the products, installation and service was faultless from beginning to end. The attention to detail was excellent. The installation team really respect your property and make sure that you are happy with progress and the finished installation. They even beat their suggested installation timing. Such a contrast to the company I had to sack from the project who four months after the order was placed could not even give an indication of when they would be ready to install. In short, they have restored my confidence in service.
Absolutely outstanding quality. Josh and Lewis have worked tirelessly to install all new windows, front door & porch. Their professional and friendly approach has been a breath of fresh over a lengthy 5 week project. Brilliant from start to finish. Great care taken to listen to our requirements, a range of options were offered and we felt in control of the process. We visited the factory where we saw people taking pride in their work and we were sold. A few months later we have a beautiful, functional, well made front door that we know will last a generation. We have just had a new door installed by Josh and Lewis of David H Wright. What a team! They worked so carefully with what I thought might be difficult masonry, but they dealt with it so well. The installation was done meticulously and the door and surround looks superb. And, much to our delight, both cleaned up as they went along so there was no mess, and carpets etc are pristine. David H Wright have made and fitted the most beautiful windows and front door for us. They have transformed our house. We have had exceptional service throughout the process. This is the second time I have used DH Wright for new timber frame sash windows.
I returned to the company as the first job was a high standard.
Unfortunately, this time, when the new windows arrived to be installed, there were several issues. The mouldings had not been made correctly, the wrong sash restrictors had been fitted and the finish was not as expected.
I was not happy!
The MD called me himself and organised to have everything rectified as quickly as possible.
Within a week, I had new the new frames installed and everything was to standard and met expectations.
The MD followed up to make sure everything was okay and that I was happy.
Everyone is allowed to mistake and how they respond is what counts. I highly recommend DH Wright and would use them again.

We were expertly advised when placing our order, and were delighted to be able to visit the factory and understand more about the manufacturing process. Our window fitters, Danny and Louis, did an amazing job. They were extremely efficient, are clearly very skilled, and went above and beyond throughout. They couldn’t have done a better job and we’d highly recommend them!

Really happy with our new accoya timber front door. David H Wright were excellent from start to finish. At the beginning of the process my wife and I were invited to have a tour of the workshop to witness the manufacturing process which was invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff in the office, Alison and Lindsay in particular, were very obliging with the many queries we had and supplying the various colour samples for the door glass as we had difficulty choosing the most suitable ones and had to keep going backwards and forwards to them. Josh and Harry the two joiners on site were helpful, polite and hard working lads. They got on with the job quickly and efficiently and were very neat and tidy in their work. On completion of the job they cleaned up so well you wouldn’t have even known they’d been. This is a really good company to deal with.
Not the cheapest option but that is reflected in the high quality of their products and their work. And their fitters were very quick and considerate, finished the job properly and tidied up after themselves. Recommended.
David H Wright made a really beautiful front door fot us. The service was very efficient and the finished product was made and fitted with exceptional care. A good solid wooden door which shuts with a satisfying clunk. We had to wait a few months but it was well worth it - all good things take time to make.
Excellent firm to be involved with. Being a woodworker myself, I decided to go with the accoya, though I'm still slightly confused over the process. The location of my new window, over a 20ft drop, made the decision to have the work done very easy. DH Wright were very helpful, were happy to take me on a tour of the workshop where I was pleased to see their attention to detail. There was a long lead in to getting the window made, but then they were very accommodating when I had to delay fitting. Window excellent; fitters quick and efficient. And tidy!

The timber windows & doors are of exceptional quality. The company are a joy to deal with.
